Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

This notice describes how IV Directory (operated by Sean Coles, at ivfind.com) collects, uses, and shares consumer health data — a specific category of information defined by Washington’s My Health My Data Act and similar state laws. It supplements our general Privacy Policy.

What we mean by “consumer health data”

Consumer health data is personal information that identifies a consumer’s past, present, or future health status — including your interest in seeking health services. On our site, that specifically includes:

• The IV therapy service you ask about or request (for example, “NAD+,” “Myers Cocktail,” “hydration therapy”).
• Preferred appointment date and time you enter on a quote request.
• ZIP code or other location information you provide when searching.
• Any free-text description of your reason for seeking IV therapy (for example, a note that says “for jet lag” or “post-workout recovery”).
• Information you share with our AI chat assistant about services you are considering.

Sources of this data

We only collect consumer health data that you voluntarily submit to us — through the quote request form, the chat assistant, or direct communication with us. We do not buy consumer health data from data brokers, and we do not infer it from browsing behavior.

How we use it

• To route your inquiry to the IV therapy provider you select so they can respond to you directly.
• To send you confirmation messages about your request (by email or SMS).
• To prevent abuse, spam, and fraud.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use consumer health data to train AI models, target advertising, or build profiles of you for any purpose other than delivering the service you requested.

Who we share it with

• The provider you select. When you submit a quote request, we share your contact details, service requested, preferred time, and any message you wrote with that one provider so they can contact you.
• Service providers who help us operate the site, strictly under contracts that limit their use of your data: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS and call routing), Resend (email delivery), Fly.io (hosting), Cloudflare (DNS and email routing).
• Legal authorities, only when required by law.

We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share consumer health data with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics companies that would use it for their own purposes.

Your rights

Under Washington’s My Health My Data Act and similar laws in other states, you have the right to:

• Confirm whether we are collecting, sharing, or selling your consumer health data.
• Access a copy of the consumer health data we have about you.
• Withdraw consent to our continued collection or sharing of your consumer health data.
• Delete your consumer health data.

Consent

We collect consumer health data only after you give us specific, affirmative consent at the point of collection — for example, by checking the consent box on the quote request form before submitting it. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the methods above.

Geofencing

We do not use geofencing around any healthcare facility to collect data, send advertisements, or identify consumers seeking healthcare services.

Data retention

We retain consumer health data for as long as necessary to deliver your inquiry to the provider and handle follow-up. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Updates to this notice

We will post a new effective date and version when this notice materially changes, and we will ask for renewed consent on your next interaction if new categories of data or new third parties are added.
